PolkaBEATS 2012
Mit „Polka over serbja – Live in Chosebuz“ haben die Herren aus der Eifel ihr Cottbuser Konzert von 2007 auf einer CD verewigt. Nach fünf Jahren kommen sie zurück in die Lausitz und spielen immer noch ihre Musikmischung, die sie selber „Hard-Polka“ nennen. In ausgelassener Partylaune lassen sie dabei prinzipiell und genüsslich Verbote und stilistische Grenzen außer Acht. Besonders gut gelingt ihnen ihr Klischeebruch, in dem sie das Stampfende der Polka mit der Wärme des Country und der Power des Rock´n´Roll kombinieren. Ihre schrillen Polka-Shows präsentieren sie genauso so gerne in dicht gedrängte Clubs wie auf großen Festivals.

With “Polka over serbja – Live in Chosebuz”, the gentlemen from the Eiffel immortalised their 2007 concert in Cottbus on CD. After five years, they are coming back to the Lausitz, still playing their mix of music which they call “hard polka”. In a rollicking party mood, they disregard taboos and the limits of style as a matter of principle and with relish. They are particularly good at breaking away from clichés by combining the pounding of polka with the warmth of country and the power of rock’n’roll. They present their flashy polka shows in crowded clubs with the same ardour as at major festivals.

Pod tytułem „Polka over serbja – Live in Chosebuz“panowie z Eifel uwiecznili na płycie CD swój koncert w Cottbus z 2007 roku. Po pięciu latach wracają do Łużyc i nadal grają swoją muzyczną mieszankę, którą sami nazywają „Hard-Polka“. W swawolnym imprezowym nastroju zasadniczo i rozkosznie ignorują zakazy i stylistyczne ograniczenia. Szczególnie dobrze udało im się złamać stereotyp, poprzez kombinację dzikości polki z ciepłem muzyki country i siłą rock´n´rolla. Swoje krzykliwe polka-show prezentują równie chętnie w ciasnych klubach jak i na dużych festiwalach.
